LevelLink

Support

Something not reading right? Start here. Most problems are power, WiFi, or the probe not sitting flat on the tank floor — and all three are quick to check.

Contact us: support@levellink.com.au
Include your Hardware ID (shown in the app under Settings) and we can look at your tank's history directly — it usually saves a round of questions.

Before you email

The app shows no recent reading

Check power at the tank first, then WiFi. The control box needs mains power and a WiFi signal it can actually hold — not just one bar. If the box has power but the app is stale, the most common cause is the WiFi password changing or the router being replaced.

Re-run the WiFi setup →

The level looks wrong

The probe must rest flat on the tank floor with its cable uncoiled. A kinked cable pinches the internal air tube and the reading drifts. Check also that litres per metre in the app matches your tank — that setting converts depth into litres and a wrong figure makes usage nonsense while the depth stays correct.

A fault message in the app

LevelLink names its faults rather than just going blank, so the message tells you which tool to bring. See the fault table below.

Updating the firmware

Updates are offered to you — the device never installs one behind your back. When an update is available you will be notified, and you start it yourself.

What the fault messages mean

If your device reports one of these, it is telling you what it found. Quoting the exact wording when you email us is the single most useful thing you can do.

MessageWhat it meansWhat to check
Probe disconnected No current flowing in the probe loop at all The cable at the control box, and the terminals. Usually a wire pulled out or a cut cable.
Under range Loop current below the probe's normal working range A failing probe, or water ingress in a junction. Email us with the reading.
Over current More current than the probe should ever draw A short in the cable run — often a crushed cable under a lid or a flooded joint.
Above range / Sensor saturated Water deeper than the probe's rated span Not a fault. A 2 m probe in a deeper tank. The reading is still valid up to the probe's limit.
Temperature channel fault The water-temperature channel is misreading Water level is unaffected and keeps working. Temperature only.
Input supply low Supply voltage at the box has sagged The plug pack, and the length and gauge of the low-voltage cable run.
Enclosure humidity rising Moisture is getting into the sealed box Cable glands and the lid seal. This is an early warning, months before damage — worth acting on.

Warranty and returns

LevelLink is sold in Australia and comes with the consumer guarantees that apply under Australian Consumer Law. If something fails, email us — we would rather fix or replace a unit than have one sitting dead on a tank.
